I believe it was the #1 or at least close to the #1 selling album of all time at sandbox. They hit right at the peak of the indie/underground hip hop movement--even were in a Sprite commercial. Their debut was OK--at the time I thought they were kind of overrated. Their producer, Chops, has been doing stuff for other groups lately. They had a second album, and it's listed on Allmusic...but I'm not entirely sure it actually came out. I think I have the sampler CD somewhere. Ego Trip's Big Book of RAcism is one of the funniest books ever. They also did one on the history of hip hop too.
